Scientific Collaboration Goes Global

:: Posted by American Biotechnologist on 01-30-2011

Olivier Beauchesne of Science-Metrix recently created an online map of scientific collaborations that exist between cities around the world.

The map was compiled from data found in scientific journal aggregators such as Elsevier’s Scopus and Thomson Reuter’s Web of Science.

The result is an awesome display of global scientific collaboration and a true testament to the universal nature of science.
