The Cell: An Image Library Launched and Growing!

The Cell: An Image Library™ now has almost 3000 research quality cellular images, videos, and animations, and welcomes submissions and feedback. The Library is funded with ARRA support, and was launched December 2010 by the American Society for Cell Biology.

This new repository of microscopy data gives researchers the opportunity to archive their data for their own use as well as making that information available for possible collaborations. Ever wondered what to do with the images that guided your discovery but were not in the published paper? Now you can archive them in The Cell for your own future use and that of others.

Please visit the site, submit images to develop the collection, and take a moment to provide feedback on the site via the survey.

For additional comments or questions, please contact David Orloff, Manager, Image Library.
